WOMEN’S FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION PROGRAM

In recent years, every financial institution has launched a women’s financial education/literacy program. But… think about it.

Do you need to study anatomy before going on a jog? Do you need to study nutrition before you can eat kale? Of course not. Why do we then continue to tell women they need to learn more about money before getting involved with it?

So, we created a financial participation program for UBS, focusing on getting women involved with their money…because every little step counts. We called it…

MY MONEY MOVE

UBS has some shocking research that reinforces this challenge: 80% of women will end up managing their finances alone one day, yet 60% of us are abdicating from all long-term financial decisions.

Women already have money skills, they just need to shed the conditioning that makes them feel ill-equipped. So, that’s where we started.

More than anything, we needed to walk the walk and provide them with ways to take action. So, we created a website full of meaningful content designed to empower women to immediately start making money moves.

FAQ - FREQUENTLY AVOIDED QUESTIONS [digital]

Let’s face it, money talk is awkward, and the most important questions are the often the most difficult to ask.

We started by breaking the stigma around money talk, answering questions and providing guides for women to initiate important financial conversations with their partner or financial advisor.

WHAT’S YOUR MONEY LANGUAGE? [digital]

Financial planning is not one-size-fits-all. So, we built a custom quiz to help women identify their learning style and their primary motivations.

Curious? Take it yourself.

YOUR MONEY MOVES [content]

Then, we paired each result with specific money moves most suited for this specific woman. We shared actions that best fit their long-term goals, communication style and comfort level when it comes to their finances.
